Wayne A. Smith
Vice President Business Development
Wayne A. Smith joined Millard in August 2001.
Mr. Smith had previously worked seven years with Ruan Transportation Services and fourteen years with Ameriserve, a national foodservice distribution provider to the quick service restaurant industry. While at Ameriserve, Mr. Smith served as a division president in Omaha, and later as a Regional Vice President for the Southeast U.S. working from Atlanta.
Mr. Smith joined Millard as a Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations, and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development with emphasis on National Accounts. He has an undergraduate degree in marketing from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Terry L. Denker
Vice President Business Development
Terry Denker has been working for Millard Refrigerated Services for more than 20 years.
Prior to working at Millard, Terry farmed with his family in Dension, Iowa and was employed by Cargill Meat Solutions for five years at their Fort Morgan facility as Manager of Freezer Operations. Terry has been married for 30 years and has three children. He enjoys jogging, golfing and spending time with his family.

Curt Mather
Vice President Business Development
Curt Mather's background in refrigerated storage has a flavor that is both diverse and international. Prior to joining Millard, Curt spent 14 years as owner operator of Gulf Cold Storage Inc., handling marine terminal cold storage in the Port of Pascagoula, Mississippi. In this experience, Curt dealt extensively with poultry processors and international trading companies, who served markets in Eastern Europe and Africa, as well as Central and South America.
Curt also spent several years handling cold storage development and construction in various Russian cities.
A graduate of the University of the State of New York, Curt enjoys flying, diving, fishing, travel, language study and spending time with his family.

marc Malone
Vice President Business Development – Southeast Region
Marc Malone joined Millard in August 2011 as Vice President, Business Development.
Prior to joining Millard Mr. Malone was a business development executive in the temperature controlled warehouse and distribution industry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Tennessee and a MBA from Middle Tennessee State University. Marc also served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Beyond his professional life Marc enjoys hunting, golf, boating, family time and all other outdoor athletic activities.

Mark C. Conklin
Vice President Business Development – South Region
Mark C. Conklin brings nearly four decades of experience to his role as Millard's vice president of business development. Having started in the industry 1973, Mark moved up through the ranks – serving as a warehouse worker, forklift operator and checker before getting opportunities as a warehouse supervisor, inventory control manager, office manager, IS manager and operations manager.
Having excelled at every stop, Mark moved up to general manager and vice president of operations, before moving into his current role.
Mark has earned a bachelor of arts degree, and is a member of AFFI – Texas Mexico Frozen Food Chapter, as well as being a proud 12th Man member for Texas A&M.
Outside of his professional life, Mark enjoys golf, target shooting, raising cattle and attending college football games.Read more.

Bill Cook
Director of Business Development – Northeast Region
Bill Cook brings extensive and diverse experience to his role leading business development in Millard's East Region. With more than 25 years' experience in logistics, Bill knows how to recognize customer needs, and how to match them to the skill and resources available from Millard.
Before joining Millard, Bill managed multiple facilities in Chicago, Allentown and Atlanta for Nexus Distribution Corporation – putting more than 2 million square feet of operating space under his oversight. Before that, Bill amassed 12 years' experience in DSD sales with Interstate Brands Corp. (where he also served as a training facilitator), followed by five years in cold storage sales and operations with Americold Logistics.
A strong believer in lifelong learning and training, Bill was trained and certified through Development Dimensions International, and has been a constant presence at leading sales and marketing seminars for the past 12 years.
A board member of his local CSCMP, in addition to his membership in the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association and the Philadelphia Port Authority, Bill has coached baseball at various levels for 16 years.
He has been married for 24 years and is the father of two boys. An avid outdoorsman, Bill can often be found hunting, fishing or playing golf.

Darin Cook
Director of Business Development – Midwest Region
Darin Cook has handled sales and operations management in some of the industry's most challenging settings, including 13 years with Coca-Cola Enterprises, as part of a broad 15-year career in distribution and logistics.
Today, Darin applies the knowledge he has gained to the needs of the design of solutions for food, beverage and retail customers across the nation who value the excellence that comes only from Millard.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology, Darin spends his free time golfing, snowboarding, boating and enjoying his family.

Tony Grossi, director of business development for Millard's West Region, has amassed more than 20 years' experience in the field of business development – including a challenging position as director of North American sales for a major company in the food industry.
Tony has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Oregon, as well as extensive certifications and accreditations he has earned during his career.

Michelle Lee
Business Development Manager – Canada
Michelle Lee has demonstrated a devotion to training and development throughout her career. While serving in a sales and management position with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, North America's largest rental car company, Michelle led a skilled, ambitious team of employees as they pursued the training and development that would lead to advancements in their careers.
Michelle took the same approach to strengthening client relationships, while successful securing a great many new client relationships within her region.
Understanding and meeting the needs of clients is always the key with Michelle, who applies this approach, along with her commitment to ongoing improvement, to the client relationships she develops for Millard.
Michelle maintains the same commitment to personal excellence. As a member of the Goodlife Gym and Recreation Fitness Center, Michelle spends time playing tennis and jogging, and also loves traveling and the theatre.Read more.
