We’re creating a culture of learning that begins on your first day at Millard. In our plants, team members receive important training on how to operate our equipment, be safe, and treat our fellow team members and customers with respect, as well as many other skills to help you be successful in your role.
Our objective is to promote from within and provide career opportunities to our team members who aspire to take on different roles in the company.
Millard University was created to help facilitate learning and development objectives to help improve current job performance as well as prepare you for future roles.
We currently offer five learning tracks for education with instruction in general management, human resources, customer service and leadership.
The Millard University system delivers training and development opportunities through five primary methods:

- Internal Millard human resources department delivered training
- External professional management training programs delivered by partner Star 12
- Monthly management webinar training delivered via WebEx by the HR department
- Self-paced e-learning or video based systems
