Advanced Inventory Management (AIM)
Millard tracks pallet movements with an enhanced process called the Advanced Inventory Management system (AIM).
AIM, which was developed using the Six Sigma continuous improvement process, represents a significant upgrade of Millard’s Warehouse Management System.
Functioning as a directed pallet management system, AIM tracks all pallet movements from initial receipt to final shipment, taking into consideration factors such as item velocity, case selection percentages, lot sizes and pallet heights in order to reduce warehouse travel time and optimize warehouse space utilization while improving inventory control.
AIM also integrates fully with Millard’s Labor Management System, which ensures that pallet tracking works in harmony with labor productivity and planning to produce complete control and visibility in the process.
